A doctor who works as a frontliner under the Ministry Of Health (MOH) died yesterday (19 January) after he fell ill from extreme fatigue and lack of rest.
It is understood that Dr Ali Noor Hassan was admitted to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) in early December 2020 according to a post uploaded to his Facebook page by his wife.
On 18 January, she uploaded another post saying that Dr Ali was in critical condition in HKL and had asked the public for prayers.
After Dr Ali passed away, she said that his body would be handled by the Tun Hussein Onn City Mosque at 10am today (20 January) and would be buried at the cemetery there.
According to Harian Metro, the news of the death of Dr Ali was conveyed through a post uploaded by Facebook page Skuad Pengurusan Jenazah – SPJ Malaysia.
In the post, it says that Dr Ali is a registered member of SPJM since 2018 and participated in the SPJM Funeral Management Course at Surau Quba Sentul two years ago.
“Dr Ali is said to be a member of the dakwah group and has participated twice in tabligh assemblies in Beaufort, Sabah,” the post said.
“Every time a there is a large tabligh assembly in Sabah, Dr Ali will come from Selangor to serve voluntarily as a medical staff for the participants.”
“SPJM lost a member who was so committed to serving the people.”
Along with the post is the last picture taken of Dr Ali who fell ill from exhaustion due to the heavy workload. He also had lack of sleep after working in the frontlines to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is understood he fell asleep while on duty and fainted.
