In his press conference today, Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri announced that the 30% work-from-home condition for company supervisors and managers will be cancelled given that in some manufacturing companies, work cannot be conducted remotely. The cancellation of this condition will take effect starting 1 April 2021 and will allow factories to operate at full capacity.

For government sector employees, their working arrangement will be in accordance with the circular by the Public Service Departments.

Private sector companies are allowed to operate at maximum capacity for all employees across the ranks including management and supporting staffs.
