Klang Valley is currently going through a rainy season and there have been heavy downpours almost every day.
Those travelling by road should be warned that the rain today (13 April) has caused several roads to be flooded, resulting in congestion.
Astro Radio Traffic reported stagnant water and flash floods in the following areas:
- Jalan Kuching: Taman Wahyu – Batu Caves roundabout
- Jalan Cheras: Cheras Sentral – Billion roundabout
- Jalan Maharajalela: Both directions at Maharajalela Monorail Station
- Jalan Raja Chulan: Heading towards Telekom Museum
Meanwhile, here are other roads affected by the rain.
- Jalan Raja Laut, KL: Fallen lamp post near Menara 1 DBKL blocking the middle and right lanes.
- Flash floods near Taman Connaught are causing a half an hour crawl from Salak South.
- Flash floods near Taman Wahyu causing a massive jam from the Segambut roundabout to Batu Caves
If you plan to drive out, do avoid the roads mentioned above.
