With food, nothing matters more than hygiene, and for this one restaurant, hygiene was not their priority as they used pieces of their log book as wrapping paper.
Taking to Facebook, netizen Jasonino Wong shared the ordeal of ordering and getting his roti bakar wrapped under such an unhygienic state.
Complete with names, phone numbers and temperature, in his Facebook status Jasonino writes: “Ordered roti bakar from this restaurant To my horror they used this to wrap the roti bakar.“
“Unhygienic and stupid. Exposing all those phone numbers is a breach of the personal data protection act.”
Imagine the number of people who have come into contact with that piece of paper.
Ugh.
The restaurant in question has responded to the matter.
“We found out that our foreign worker took it upon him to use this paper to pack the food as wrapping paper at the time ran out.”
“We have terminated the worker in question. We are sincerely sorry for this mishap.”
Let’s hope that incidences like this does not repeat itself in the future.
