World record for deepest swimming pool for diving
According to India Today, this breathtaking diving pool is located in the Nad Al Sheba neighbourhood. The pool is said to be crowned with the title of the deepest swimming pool for diving, as verified by the Guinness World Records.
Deep Dive Dubai has a depth of 60.02 metres, as reported by Esquire ME, and holds 14 million litres of fresh warm water, which is filtered and circulated every six hours. This one-of-a-kind pool also holds a sunken city within it!
Has its own sunken city
Besides that, it has an abandoned streetscape and features an apartment, garage and arcade. It also has up to 56 underwater cameras that cover all angles of the pool. And the cherry on top of it all is that there are even sound and mood lighting systems to provide divers with a better diving experience!
Only open by exclusive invitation until July
At the moment, Deep Dive Dubai is only open by invitation. Public bookings will start in late July for residents and visitors aged 10 and above. Not that it makes a difference for us Malaysians, since we are still battling against the pandemic…
Hang in there guys! Let’s just admire these pictures and videos for now, okay?
