M’sian Who Lost Her Income Urgently Needs Your Help To Feed 21 Stray Dogs & Cats

There are many Malaysians out there, who despite their own struggles, are doing their level best to help shelter and feed stray dogs and cats.

Nur Hazimah Shaharoni is one of these selfless people, who now needs your help in order to keep and feed the little fur babies she’s rescued from the streets.

Her struggle

Hazimah, who is caring for 16 cats and five dogs, shared with WORLD OF BUZZ that she had previously worked as an operator at a furniture factory, but has been forced to take unpaid leave.

“I lost my income due to being put under unpaid leave. Last month, my company only gave me RM400 for pocket money for the lockdowns. I have no other sources of income,” she said.

Hazimah, who lives with her brother and uncle, added that her uncle is on the same boat as the factory that he works in has been closed for the lockdowns.

“He also has no source of income. My younger brother, who is a food delivery rider, can’t go out to earn a living either because his motorcycle has broken down and we have no money to repair it,” she added.

They tried to purchase a new motorbike but unfortunately, many of the shops are closed during lockdown.

Her plea

Hazimah has received help with food supplies for herself, her brother and her uncle, but she needs your help to feed the poor animals that she managed to save from the streets.

“Two puppies, I took from the side of the road as their mother was caught by the authorities.”

“I just want to ask for help for the dogs and cats. The dogs eat rice and chicken livers. 500 grams of chicken livers and eight pots of rice a day is needed for three adult dogs. Two puppies require a puppy Pedigree. As for the cats, they eat ProDiet. One sack can last for a month,” she said.
