No More 10km Radius & Vehicle Passenger Restriction For Fully Vaccinated Individuals In Phase 1 States

The total number of passengers allowed in a vehicle is now according to the vehicle capacity and no longer restricted, for fully vaccinated individuals only. This applies to the states under Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan.

However, the number of people allowed in e-hailing services is restricted to two persons, including the driver and the passenger, and the passenger needs to be sitting at the back.

For those who have not completed their vaccination, only two persons are allowed to go out to purchase basic needs, and three persons are allowed to go out for medical services or emergency needs.

Other than that, the 10km travel limit is now removed under the Phase one states, but interstate and interdistrict travels are still prohibited, except for long-distance married couples, visiting children under 18 years old and those who have obtained permission from the police.

It is also important to note that, fully vaccinated individuals are those who have completed their second dose of Pfizer, AstraZeneca, or Sinovac vaccine after 14 days, or 28 days after single-dose vaccines such as Johnson & Johnson or Cansino.

More information about the SOPs for states under Phase one can be found here at the National Security Council’s official website.
