This Student Organisation Builds Leaders for FREE, Here’s What M’sian Youths Should Know

It’s definitely no secret that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders which is why it’s super important that Malaysian students are given a platform that they can use to speak out about the things that are important to them.

With that said, it is equally important that our students are well-equipped with the information they need to conquer the real world once they’re done with school.

If you’re a Malaysian student or if you know someone who’s interested in gaining some future proof skills for FREE, read on below!

After three incredibly impactful workshops, the National Student Advocacy Workshop (NaSA) is back again with another intriguing workshop happening this 4th of September 2021!

Wah, so exciting right??

Let’s have a look at what you can expect from the National Student Advocacy Workshop next month!

First off, what is this National Student Advocacy Workshop all about??

pl

Jointly organised by Higher Education Malaysia Association (HEYA) and PKPIM, the National Student Advocacy Workshop (NaSA) aims to build support with student leaders in order to establish independent student unions and reforms surrounding freedom of speech & association.

In the previous NaSA workshops, they’ve had a few pretty exciting guest speakers such as Malaysian YouTuber, Mr Arwind Kumar and Mr Ooi Tze Howe, the founder of HEYA himself! Cool, right?

They also covered important topics such as:

  • Learn How To Negotiate For Student Welfare,
  • Learn How To Become A Great Leader And Make Your Organisation Succeed and
  • Learn How To Advocate Confidently and Convincingly

Woah, these are definitely invaluable skills that the students can put to good use in the future! 👏🏻

Wow, interesting! What’s in store for the students in this round of the NaSA workshop?

After three really successful workshops, HEYA is back with the fourth series of the NaSA workshop and the best part of all is that this workshop is completely FREE for all students to attend! 🎉

So, what’s the highly anticipated theme for the fourth series, you ask? 🤔

Wonder no more! The theme for the latest NaSA workshop is ‘Learn How To Strategise For Operational Resources‘! 💪🏻

Not only will you learn how to strategise & plan for your organisation’s operational resources, but you’ll also:

  • Discover insights on governance structures, their legal challenges and the way forward
  • Get exclusive engagements with experts, student activists, and youth leaders

Hmm, how will this workshop be impactful towards the Malaysian youth?

Having competent student leaders within the Malaysian youth is incredibly important. After all, student leaders are students themselves so they definitely know the struggles that other students face!

With that said, if we take the time to hone the skills of student leaders, not only will they fight for other students & their rights, but they will also serve as an inspiration to the younger generation. 🤩

Yay, super exciting times! If you’re interested in joining the NaSA workshop to develop your skillset and broaden your horizons, make sure to click here to register. Remember, slots are on a first-come, first-served basis to make sure you register now!
