I mean the skin is definitely the best part as it is covered in batter and fried till golden brown perfection with the irresistible blend of KFC’s famous 11 herbs and spices. When you think about it, pairing the crispy chicken skin with fizzy drinks seems like a match made in heaven!
Well, it looks like our dreams have finally come true as KFC has just launched a special snack box which consists of one loaded potato bowl, some chicken skin and a can of Pepsi. It retails for RM9.99 but you can choose other combos that retail for as low as RM5.99. You can place your order through the website (delivery/self collect) from 2-5pm. This combo is only valid until 11 October 2021.

We saw how much everyone was raving about it online and decided to try it for ourselves to let you guys know what we think!
While it may appear small at first glance, there are actually a lot of chicken skin pieces in the box. The piping hot skin was fragrant with the familiar herbs and spices used in the original KFC chicken pieces. It was also extremely crunchy (perfect for ASMR). A fair warning in advance, if eaten plainly, the chicken skin might be a little too salty for some.
To ensure we give you guys a proper no-holds review that suits all demographics, we asked people of different age groups and lifestyles to let us know how they found the snack!
Speaking to a mother of a toddler, she told WOB that she’ll definitely be ordering it again as she likes it a lot and enjoys putting it as a topping for her noodles.
An elderly couple had mixed feelings about it as the woman has said that it is a little too salty for her while her husband had said that he will definitely buy it again so that he can keep it for the night and put it in the air fryer when the football matches finally resume.
The chicken skin was introduced first in the Philippines in November 2018 and subsequently in Singapore in November 2019.
