In the tabling of Budget 2022 in the Dewan Rakyat today, the Minister of Finance Tengku Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz said that the government will set up a fund for the treatment of mental health in Malaysia.
He said in a live press conference that RM70 million will be allocated for the fund, which will be directed towards strengthening counselling and psychosocial programmes, advocacy efforts and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
