Minister of Health Khairy Jamaluddin posted on Twitter envisioning that the interstate travel ban is set to be lifted soon as the nation’s vaccination rate against Covid-19 gets closer to the 90% threshold.
In his tweet, he mentions that 86% of the country’s adult population have been fully vaccinated as of Friday.
86% adults have been fully vaccinated. 4% more until we lift interstate travel. With greater mobility, there will be more gatherings. We need to take responsibility for our actions. If you develop symptoms get a test kit and test. If positive, isolate quickly.

Commenting on his statement, netizens agreed that as the country approaches the end of the pandemic, we simply have to learn to live with Covid-19.
Yes! This is the way Khairy, we have to live with Covid. Quarantine should be for the sick, not the healthy following SOP. Please end 14 day quarantine for returning Malaysians! We need to see family. PCR test on arrival and again later is fine like UK or other countries do.

What is your opinion on the matter? Will we be allowed interstate travel as promised when we reach 90% of the country’s adult population?
