Merdeka 118, Malaysia’s Tallest Building Vandalised & Netizens Approve Of This Vandalism!

Vandalism. Can it be considered as “art” or not?

With a staggering height of 678.9 meters tall, Merdeka 118 was announced as the second tallest building in the whole wide world!

However, despite it’s unbelievable height, nothing is stopping people from vandalising the building.

A tweet posted by Twitter user, SkyscraperMY  showcases two pictures of Merdeka 118, where in the first picture, scribbles and writings are seen on top of the building.

“Vandalism seen on top of the second tallest building in the world… Seems like the birds did it 👀

It is believed that the scribbling were done by the workers who worked atop the building.

However, the question here is, is this form of vandalism acceptable or not?

“Let it be. They risked their lives working up there to build the building”

One twitter user mentioned how they are not even mad and this other user said they should leave marks because they were the ones who worked hard to build it.

No one will see it!

One Twitter user mentioned how no one will see it anyways, as there are no other buildings taller than it is in the are.

Sign of appreciation

“It’s like some sort of signature after all the hardwork as some names were spotted”

A number of Twitter users solely agree to let them be as it is like a sign of appreciation for all their hardwork!

One Twitter user even said they believe every mega project should have a huge plaque in the lobby where the names of everyone who built it is presented. “They risked their lives“, said the user.
