A man has gone viral for stripping naked in public, at the lobby of a hotel in Genting Highlands, Pahang on Wednesday (6 April).
Based on a report by Kosmo!, the man was believed to be at the resort with his wife and 2 children, aged 2 and 5, for a holiday.
In a 15-second video, the man can be seen undressing in front of his family before sitting down and bowing before his wife. The man’s clothes can be seen spewn on the floor around him. His actions were allegedly due to work stress.
Bentong District Police Chief, Superintendent Zaiham Mohd. Kahar shared that the incident took place at 4.20pm.
“Following the incident, the public contacted the auxiliary police who then took the man to the Genting Police Station here, before being sent to the Bentong Hospital for examinations,”
“Based on information from his wife, the man is believed to be suffering from work stress which, prior to the incident, he, who worked as a sales assistant, did not get enough sleep,” Zaiham said.
In the meantime, the authorities are waiting for a medical report to identify the cause of the incident, including whether it involves mental problems and so on.
Preliminary investigations also ruled that the case was not due to gambling problems.
