Balenciaga is one of the world’s most well-known fashion brand recently came up with a ‘Trash Pouch’, a bag design inspired by a garbage bag costing $1,790!
Featuring a drawstring bag, made with calfskin leather, emblazoned with a subtle logo, the bag will make its way to stores in Fall 2022.
According to its designer, Demna Gvasalia: “I couldn’t miss an opportunity to make the most expensive trash bag in the world, because who doesn’t love a fashion scandal?”
Netizens had mixed emotions when they commented on the reveal. One in particular pointed out that fashion brands are only trying to make more money out of consumers.
“They are really trying to make a joke out of the consumers at this point.”
