Print your face on desserts like macarons and cookies so your loved ones can literally savour you!

Iina stores, a Japanese company that designs customised gifts is probably the first in the world to introduce the face macarons, where you get to print your face onto the tasty handmade macarons and send it out as a present for your friends, family, lovers, or even yourself!

Wanting to make gifts that make its customers smile, iina stores also handmakes the confections with natural ingredients so that they do not only look good but taste delicious as well!

A set of the face macarons comes in five macarons in different flavours: salted caramel, matcha, earl grey, strawberry, and lemon. You can also get just one flavour per set. The set comes in a gift box so it is perfect for gift-giving on a special day like Valentine’s Day, White Day, birthdays, or anniversary celebrations!

The set costs around 2,916 yen (approximately RM111) on the Rakuten online shop, with shipping fees ranging from 880 to 1,320 yen (approximately RM33 to RM50).

“It’s fun to make something with the bride and groom’s face at a wedding,” the store says. And if the idea of face macarons is not eye-opening enough, the store also sells face dorayaki and face cookies. Check them out here.

Sometimes face expressions speak louder than words, thus these face-printed sweet treats make such a weird and delightful gift to brighten someone’s day on a special occasion.

The items are only available in Japan for the time being. But we surely look forward to face macarons becoming a thing in Malaysia as well!
