Dating apps can be all fun and games until you meet someone who breaks your heart or does something worst.
We’ve all seen our fair share of messed up stories on one of the many confession pages on Facebook, so here’s another that has got us all types of shook.
Last night, a confession was posted to the Facebook page, Tantan Confessions Malaysia, detailing a horror story an underaged girl allegedly faced and is currently facing after meeting someone on the Tantan dating app.
“I met a guy on Tantan… And I felt like I completely lost my mind,” the confessor writes.
The girl explained that when she had first met him, everything was all lovey-dovey and sweet. He would play games with her online and say sweet things to her. But everything started to take a turn for the worse after he started requesting for nudes.
“I felt like I never wanted to leave him, and I think he could tell,” she writes. “He immediately took advantage of my feelings and asked me for my nudes. I don’t know what I was thinking but before I knew it, I had sent them to him. That year, I was 16 years old.”
She explained that although she had lied about her age on the dating app, the guy had been aware of her age from the very start but still requested her nudes anyways.
“I remember there was this one time, he told me he didn’t do that well on his exam and that he wanted to see my body to cheer up. I told him I was out shopping, but he just told me to take photos in the bathroom. Back then, I was afraid that he would leave me so I just did it.”
She continued to explain that he had promised her that he would never leave her and that he would always protect her no matter what happened. But, as it turns out, his words were just empty promises as he has since blocked her on all social media and cut all contact with her as well.
Since he broke up with her, the girl said that she has tried committing suicide at least 20 times. During every single attempt, her parents have stopped her but she has reached a point where her family has started to give up.
“My family can’t take it anymore. They want to cut contact with me and they tell me that if I want to continue talking to him then so be it. They don’t want to care anymore,” she continued. “Even my friends think I’ve become someone else. They don’t want to talk to me anymore.”
“I’m so lost. I can’t reach him at all. I’m in so much pain. I really hope that I can find him and get back together, at least then I won’t be like how I am right now; I can’t eat, drink or sleep. I’m not usually a grumpy person but I’ve been fighting with my family so much…”
“I regret meeting you on Tantan. I regret it so much.”
