Throughout the long MCO days, many Malaysians have been spending this time trying out different hobbies and developing new interests. But as we spend more and more time at home, some of us may have picked up some ‘adulting’ habits without us even realising it! Sounds familiar?

1. You actually care about how your room/house looks
Considering that our living environment can really impact our mood and productivity, it’s no wonder why many Malaysians are investing a lot of effort into making our homes look as ‘aesthetic’ as possible.
Instead of hanging out at the mamak, now we find ourselves becoming like our parents by purchasing furniture and ornaments to make our space nicer!

Who would’ve guessed there would come a time when you’d get bored of K-dramas and prefer to watch a kari ayam tutorial instead…
6. Instead of always ordering in, now you find it therapeutic to cook
One of the best things about the MCO is that it has made you discover the joy of cooking! In fact, you learned that it can be quite a therapeutic process after a hectic day of WFH. Plus, it’s also a more economical choice compared to ordering takeaways.
