The adults are not the only ones that have to work from home ever since the pandemic hit the world, but lectures for the students have to be conducted online as well in order to curb the spread of the virus.
Amidst the pandemic, a man from Taiwan had decided to give mathematic lessons through an unexpected platform – not Zoom, not Google Meet, not Microsoft Teams, as most of us do, but Pornhub! Yes, you read that right, and we all know what the platform is associated with. The best part is, he earns more than most of us do by conducting math lessons there.
Changsu, who is 34 this year, has a verified account on Pornhub under the name changsumath666 and his account even features a message to its viewers, which is “play hard, study hard.”
According to India Today, Pornhub is not his first medium of teaching that is associated with pornography. He had multiple attempts to teach maths on other porn sites but the response that he received was not as good as what he gets on the current platform.
In nearly all of his lessons video, he wears the same outfit – a grey hoodie and black-rimmed glasses. Changsu has a master’s degree in mathematics and he has been teaching for 15 years now. His medium of teaching includes online classes and Taiwanese cram schools that provide supplementary learning classes and specialize in training their students to achieve particular goals, as reported by Mel Magazine.
Last year, he had even launched an online course with its dedicated URL. That was also the year he decided to spread his knowledge on calculus through Pornhub.
“Since there are so many people watching videos there, they might be watching my videos too if I upload them on Pornhub,” he added, while also explaining that he did not want to teach maths on the platform, but instead letting the world know he is a teacher from Taiwan who teaches maths well.
He also wants people to watch his video on the platform as that would earn him approximately RM1 million annually. With that money, he pays his staff to produce more videos of him teaching the subject.
To sum things up, we applaud his bravery and commitment to teaching mathematics in such a bizarre way. And no, you need not visit Pornhub for his videos as they are also available on YouTube.
