Last week the video of Malay and Chinese aunties speaking Tamil to each other warmed the hearts of many Malaysians. Just when we thought Malaysians have outdone themselves with their talent, two days ago another video surfaced on Tik Tok wow-ing the hearts of Malaysians again.
This time it is a video of two Chinese aunties singing their hearts out to an 80s Malay song at a mall. Tik Tok user @en_goldmaster3185 shared the video which has since garnered nearly 30k views.
These two happening ladies were at The Curve in Mutiara Damansara when they came across a man playing the piano. He was playing the famous 80s Malay song Hanya Sekali from then popular group Ideal Sisters.
The ladies who knew every word to the lyrics and without giving a care in the world to the crowd, started singing their hearts out, complete with emotions and dance moves.
Many Malaysians are so proud of these aunties, saying that this unity is what Malaysia is actually about.
Despite the above comments that Malaysia-equals-unity, there are some who feels that we are not united anymore due to politics which are tearing us apart. Do let us know in the comment section if you think this is in fact true.
